Lagwagon「Resolve」とは
FAT WRECK CHORDSの御三家として一貫をパンクロックを描き続けているLagwagon（ラグワゴン）。
御三家とはStrung Out（ストラング・アウト）とすでに解散してしまったNO USE FOR A NAME（ノー・ユース・フォー・ア・ネイム）、そしてLagwagon。
そのLagwagon（ラグワゴン）の2005年発売の七枚目のアルバム「Resolve」（リゾルブ）。
このアルバムはオリジナルメンバーで96年に脱退したドラムのDerrick Plourde（デリック・プルールド）が2005年に亡くなった後に作成されたアルバムで全体的にもの悲しく、
哀愁と慈愛に満ち満ちている。
「Resolve」とは「決意する、決心する、決議する、議決する、解決する、晴らす、解明す」の意味。
不運にもなくなってしまったメンバーに捧げる、バンドとしての決意。そんな想いが込められている気がします。
一曲目からこれぞラグワゴンのメロディが炸裂する｢Heartbreaking Music｣、
徐々に盛り上がる展開がクセになる名曲｢Automatic｣、
バラードからミドルテンポにあがる切ない気持ちになる人気曲｢Resolve｣、
軽快なリズムとテンポ｢Virus｣、
イントロなしの声から入る決意｢Runs in the Family｣、
拡がる音楽性｢The Contortionist｣、
